Last weekend a group of us headed up to Lancaster for the first Mid Atlantic Mod retreat. It was a great time filled with friends,
fabric shopping,
and a whole lot of sewing!
fabric shopping,
and a whole lot of sewing!
Some of us participated in a tote bag swap.
and in some "progressive quilts"
And some (like me) just plugged away at a long list of WIPs!
Mid Atlantic Mod was co-hosted by members of the DC, Philadephia, and Central Jersey Modern Quilt Guilds, and a couple of our members - Linda and Melinda - taught classes there.
Here are a few projects from the weekend:
Anna's Michigan Quilt |
Anjeanette's Layer Cake Sampler Blocks |
Anne's Farmer's Wife Blocks |
And Dana's White Squares! Ha! (she's making another DC Metro Map quilt!) |
Thanks again to Katie for all she did to help organize Mid Atlantic Mod - we all appreciate you stepping up so we could have such a fun weekend! Looking forward to the next time!
Thanks to Anna, Anne, Melinda, Anjeanette, Dana, and Natalie for helping with photos for this post!
