Hello friends! As you may have already heard, we are so excited to officially announce that we will be hosting Lizzy House for a lecture!
This event is is FREE (yes, you heard me right, FREE!) for DCMQG members ($10 cash at the door for guests). Lizzy will be discussing how she got started in the textile industry and made her way as an artist.
In addition to Lizzy, we'll have a couple of Pop-up shops for your shopping enjoyment:
Del Ray Fabrics: Pam will be on hand with our favorite pre-cut modern quilting cottons. If you're not familiar with the fabrics that she carries, check it all out in her online shop (or in her living room, if you giver her a call): http://www.delrayfabrics.com/
Jean Ann Wright: Jean Ann has been sewing and quilting for over 50 years! She designs specialty rulers for Creative Grids and offers many, many quilting patterns. Her mastery of the curved log cabin block is just amazing. Check out her product list on her website: http://jeanannquilts.com/
There is plenty of free parking available directly across the street from the church (closest to the Fellowship Hall with big white windows near East Fairfax St. & Douglass Ave.). We hope to see you there!
